Since 30 October 2026, a free health declaration has been mandatory for entry into Tanzania. It is intended to prevent the spread of the Ebola virus.
Who needs to complete it?
- Mainland Tanzania: all travellers, including those arriving from Zanzibar.
- Zanzibar: only travellers arriving from, or transiting through, the DRC, Uganda or Kenya.
How do I complete it?
Fill it in online, on the Tanzania website or the Zanzibar website, or complete it on arrival.
